Christopher G. Korge

Christopher Korge began his legal career in 1981 with the cities of Miami Beach and Miami, where he handled matters including developing the city’s arena and securing the Miami Heat franchise. He then entered private practice with Holland & Knight, LLP., where he earned partner status. He later joined as a partner at Zack, Hanzman, Ponce, Tucker, Korge, & Gillespie, P.A., and went on to serve as the managing partner at Criden, Korge, Chaykin, Ponce, & Heise, P.A., before co-founding Korge & Korge in 1998. During his four-decade career, Mr. Korge has specialized in government contracts and procurement, legislative affairs, land use, development, permitting, and other regulatory affairs.

In addition to his legal work, Mr. Korge has been extremely active politically for twenty-five years, including through service in numerous official capacities, including his current role as National Finance Chairman of the Democratic National Committee. He has served in the past as a National Finance Chairman for Hillary Clinton for President and National Finance Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Democratic Business Council for the Democratic National Committee, and is a former trustee of the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Mr. Korge also has a long history of direct service to the community. He has served on the Florida International University Foundation Board, is a founder of the FIU Medical School, was Chairman of the Coconut Grove Junior Chamber Foundation, Chairman of the United Way Mayor’s Ball, a trustee of the Miami Art Museum, Vice Chairman of the Urban League of Greater Miami, President of the Coconut Grove Jaycees, Vice President of the Greater Miami Host Committee, and a board member of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau and Recording for the Blind.
